| Diane Dykema Diane Dykema received her LL.M in Dispute Resolution from the Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution in 2007. She also holds an LL.M (Tax) from New York University School of Law, a J.D. and B.A. from the University of Minnesota and an M.A. in art history from UCLA. Her legal background includes experience as in-house counsel with international corporations as well as law firm experience. Diane’s studies at Pepperdine emphasized using mediation and arbitration to resolve art and cultural repatriation disputes such as Holocaust looted art claims. Diane’s mediation practice includes disputes arising from both personal and business relationships. She has mediated cases involving partnership claims, breach of contract claims, collections, consumer complaints, workplace issues, personal injury claims, insurance subrogation, landlord/tenant issues and professional fees. She mediates Limited Jurisdiction disputes in the Los Angeles Superior Courts in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills through the California Academy of Mediation Professionals (“CAMP”.) Diane also mediates for the Beverly Hills Bar Association Mandatory Fee Arbitration program. In addition to her long-term involvement with various non-profit entities including the Los Angeles Music Center and Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, Diane is on the education staff of the Norton Simon Museum. |
