| Hon. William C. Cregar Hon. William C. Cregar, a United States Administrative Law Judge in Washington, D.C. for 17 years, decided cases for both the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC). His many significant cases dealt with housing discrimination, personnel law, and workplace safety and health. Judge Cregar also adjudicated cases as a Reserve Air Force Judge Advocate in the capacities of Military Trial Judge and Military Appellate Judge, retiring with the rank of Colonel. In addition to deciding many precedent setting cases, Judge Cregar mediated and settled cases for both HUD and OSHRC. A Certified Mediator, he received his mediation training at the National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada. Judge Cregar presently serves as a mediator for the California Academy of Mediation Professionals and the Superior Courts of Kern and Ventura Counties. He regularly mediates in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and Lancaster. Judge Cregar received his BA in history at the University of Chicago, his JD from the University of Illinois, and an LLM in labor law from The George Washington University. He completed judicial studies courses in Scientific Evidence, Conducting the Trial, Mediation for Administrative Law Judges, and Fair Hearings. Judge Cregar teaches trial advocacy skills at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. He is admitted to the practice of law in California, Illinois, and Texas. He resides in Southern California. |
